David Edward Owuor is a Kenyan preacher, born in May 1966 in Siaya County, who founded the Ministry of Repentance and Holiness. Before entering ministry he worked as a molecular biologist and cancer researcher in Israel and the United States, publishing in peer-reviewed journals. Most teaching on Christian dress stops at the principle and leaves the practice to the reader. But people usually have more specific questions.

Entry into heaven rests on faith in Jesus Christ, not on personal goodness or religious effort. Jesus said no one comes to the Father except through Him. Repentance turns a person toward God, and a changed life follows — but that change is the fruit of salvation, not the price paid for it.

Repentance matters because it is the door. It is the point where forgiveness is received, a broken relationship with God is restored, and a different life begins. Everything else in the Christian life comes after it — which is why it was the first word Jesus preached.

Jesus died because sin separates people from God, and someone had to carry its cost. He had done nothing wrong himself. He took the punishment that belonged to others so they could be forgiven and brought back to God — and so they could leave the sin behind, not only be excused for it.

The prophetic timeline of God is the sequence of events Scripture describes as leading to the return of Jesus Christ and the end of the present age. It matters because Scripture presents it as a call to readiness rather than as information for calculating dates — and it explicitly rules out knowing when.

Repentance is turning away from sin and returning to God. Holiness is the life that follows — a life set apart for God in what a person does, says and desires. Repentance is the door; holiness is the road. Scripture treats them as one message, never as two separate choices.

The rapture of the church is the event described in 1 Thessalonians 4, in which believers in Jesus Christ — those who have died and those still living — are caught up together to meet the Lord in the air at His return. Scripture gives no date for it and instructs believers to be ready rather than to calculate.

Hebrews 12:14 instructs believers to pursue peace with all men and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. It means that holiness is not optional for those who will see God — Scripture presents it as the settled condition of everyone who enters His presence, because nothing that defiles enters the holy city (Revelation 21:27).
